Free Certifications to boost your Resume
Getting certifications is a great way to boost your resume and add to your skillset. Certifications make you more marketable to employers and give you an opportunity to earn additional income. Below, I have compiled a list of free online courses and certifications that you can complete at your own pace. These fields offer access to jobs that have competitive pay rates and these jobs are done from home.
Psychology
The Autism Partnership Foundation is offering a free 40 hour training to become a Registered Behavior Technician. RBTs assist with delivering direct behavior-analytic services, aiding in implementing behavior plans which are developed by the BCBA or BCaBA, and collecting data. Once you complete the training and pass the RBT test, you can provide TeleHealth or in person ABA services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Public Health
University of Washington is offering free online training for the PEARLS Program, which allows you to work with older adults. The Program to Encourage Active, Rewarding Lives is a national evidence-based program for late-life depression. With a PEARLS certification, you can work as a community health worker providing TeleHealth services to clients in partnership with their doctors.
Requirements: 1 year of work experience in the work field.

Harvard University is offering free online courses on various popular topics such as game development, computer science, business and religion. If you are looking to learn a new skill or explore a new career option, check out these free courses.

Coursera is an American online learning platform that provides free online courses on subjects such as engineering, social sciences, digital marketing, computer science, cyber security and data science. Their courses take 4 to 10 weeks to complete and the certificates can be a great addition to your resume.
