The sun and her flowers
Rupi Kaur dropped her second book of poetry and really it needs no introduction. As expected there were poems that beautifully depicted love, loss and moving on from broken relationships.
I really enjoyed reading this book because she dove deeper into issues that she is passionate about like girl empowerment, immigration, and rape. She shares stories of her mother, gave readers a glimpse into her culture and captivated us with inspiration. I highly recommend reading it because it truly is an experience that cannot be explained.
